The catholic church sponsored by ABC.com...

...let's get it right, all who know me know that I've never been one for religion, but being in the Vatican today took my breath away, however being told be a tour guide that;

"you're not allowed to take pictures in the Sistene Chapel because the multinational company that paid for the cleaning of the ceiling now owns the copyright to it"

astounded me, but there were still lots of people taking photos because of the 1,000 people per 1 security guards there were in the chapel and one of those naughty people who took a picture by accident also accidentally blue toothed a photo to me of the ceiling, no idea who it came from though.

The most sacred place of the catholic church reduced to another tourist attracted as thousand of people crammed into the 'museum' with huge queues and ticket halls and gift shops at every corner.

It all just seemed very wrong and I don't even care about religion. It did however allow me to see some of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.

And also allow me to buy someone some beautiful rosary beads from the gift shop!!
