Thunder and lightning

Not a lot has happened today. Work has been quite subdued and I've spent all afternoon in a meeting room writing an authority paper for a new project.

We have had terrible weather in Birmingham today (pic). There was torrential rain which caused numerous streets in Birmingham to flood. There has also been thunder and lightning which I absolutly love. I remember being in Ibiza during a thunder storm which was the worst one I have ever saw. That night I dragged my bed to the patio door just to watch the rain and forked lightning and listen to the thunder. Hopefully it will thunder and lightning tonight whilst I'm in bed.

I'm now going to watch the Germany vs Italy euro semi final.
