Vet visit

Wee Archie isnae weel. His eye has been weeping and he has a wee cough. Though he's playful enough, and certainly his appetite is undiminished. He had sore eyes when he was a puppy, and we still had a wee tube of unopened eye drops, which I put in his eye last night.

Fortunately we had already arranged to go to the vet for his six month check up this morning. He loves going to the vet, and is such a good boy when he's being prodded and poked - even in very uncomfortable places! The vet declared it to be conjunctivitis, he's to stay inside and keep warm. And no contact with any doggie friends...

And so we had to tell Bailey she couldn't come to visit! :-(

But Bailey's mum came with her laptop. I had a few more things I needed to get on to iCloud (old photos from our overland adventure in the 70s).

Here's Archie during one of his least intrusive examinations today. He was posing as soon as he heard the camera click - what a trouper. You can see his left eye is a bit sore, so he's been mollycoddled all day. Actually he's mollycoddled every day, so no change there...

I've enjoyed using the Pro all day. It's great for photos, blipping (though there seems to have been a problem today) music, reading the papers, games, online banking and watching Netflix in bed. I think it's here to stay...
