Lots of Puddles
6.6C and mostly dull, with a couple of showers in the morning. Cleared though the afternoon. Wind to 26 mph with gusts to 39 mph. Rain forecast for later. Strongest gust yesterday from the Met Office data for Leuchars was 70 mph (6pm).
I pottered around with some family history research this morning.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk after lunch. Runrig on the Nano (The Stamping Ground and Everything You See). We went up to the church and carried on out the road towards Scryne. In the field just past the church a tractor was ploughing the field which runs between the country road and the shore road. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. It was very blustery and the track had lots of puddles after all the rain that has fallen since yesterday.
We came back along the cycle path, walking into the wind all the way along. Then we carried on round in a loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road, where there is shelter from the wind, before turning along for home.

My 1500th Blip has made an appearance in the first page of 'Popular' which is rare in these days of post grey background Blipfoto ... Many thank to all of you who donated stars and hearts. It is my intention to carry on posting unless the weather this Winter becomes too inclement :-)
