No fire on Water Street

I spent the day working at home, only popping out about midday to take a few things to the recycling bins and get a few essentials in the store. As I walked up the street I could hear the sirens of fire engines wailing from all directions but couldn't figure out where they were headed until three of them appeared and blocked my way to the bins. I walked round the block to the shop and after ten minutes maximum found the fire engines had vanished to be replaced by an ambulance and the polis. Hope everyone's OK in there (a lighting and sound equipment hire place).

It was pretty windy and I heard rumours of snow flurries, but we missed the worst of Abigail.
