yellow daisy-like flower

I have been calling this flower the "roadside yellow daisy" for years and I am sure this is not the correct name. I pulled out my Reader's Digest Gardeners' Encyclopaedia of Plants and Flowers and found it as "Coreopsis Lanceolata". Yeap! I found it. So ....I shall be calling it the "yellow daisy-like flower but the roadside".
