Brave Geranium
Last night's talk went really well, despite my initial misgivings about what I should say. After the second early morning in a row I felt fairly tired today, and found it hard to settle to report writing.
In contrast to the previous days it was gloriously sunny, so I spent a bit of time in the garden, tidying up and generally relaxing. The honey bees were busy on the Mahonia blossom, and a red admiral and comma stopped by to warm themselves on our sheltered south-facing house wall. There are still lots of flowers in the garden, including this delicate Geranium - I can't remember whether I planted it or if it's a strange seedling!
This evening Pete's giving a talk to our local Wildlife Group - we don't really do that many talks - how did we manage to end up with three in a single week?
