This weekend is the Chalk Art Festival and this is one of the LARGE ones, with people still working on it.  It's held at an airport (on the old runways) and in the downtown area of Venice, Florida and artists from around the world come for the week to create their works of art.  I may go back Monday to see the finished version of this, and also have the chance to photograph it from a platform that was closed when I was there.  Seems someone from the town still had to come and inspect it and deem it stationary enough for pedestrians.  Annoying.   The theme of the chalk festival this year is "Eat, Drink and be Merry"......and this one obviously has something to do with wine and the consumption of wine.....  :)
