@jesusjonesband - as fresh as the 90's

I think I've seen Jesus Jones more in the last few years than any other band - they are ace live: energy, feeling, passion. So happy they are touring again, they have re-worked some of their tracks and they sounded just great.  We were also treated to some nice-sounding new stuff.....a sign of a new album?  :-D

It was a drive over to Manchester (the land of traffic lights) after school today to the University Academy. There was a smell of popcorn in the car all the way though, part of the Children In Need money-raising in school was selling freshly-made popcorn and I was well and truly dosed with eau-de-caramel.  Was the same yesterday on the test run.  The PTA and Head have organised the purchasing of a proper popcorn machine to be used at all sorts of school/village thing and lent out to local organisations too as a money-raiser - they rock!  Our school is far too cool....that could be our new slogan!

Poker night tomorrow.....must get some sleep now as I won't get much until Sunday night.
