We returned home today after several days in Pennsylvania followed by 3 grueling days in NYC helping our most junior son get settled in his new apartment.  He moved from the east side of midtown Manhattan to the West Side.  It’s not a huge distance but he is now in an entirely different neighborhood, which I look forward to exploring in the near future.

The co-op he had rented for the last two years had been furnished and fully equipped so this move involved starting from scratch.  Being a very busy NYC lawyer with no free time, his parents came to the rescue and helped him get settled, furnish and equip the new apartment.  Needless to say, I am totally exhausted.  Spending one day at Ikea and another at Bed, Bath and Beyond will do that to you.  Fortunately all these places deliver and assemble so we were at least spared that. 

I was so happy to get home and see one of my adorable squirrels having a drink in the bird bath. 

I have posted backblips for the last several days.  There’s nothing very interesting as blipping was really a low priority with so much else that needed to be done.
