Feeding the young one

I threw our morning apple core to the birds and amidst the competition from the chaffinch, blackbirds and starling I noticed this little sparrow with it’s beak wide open pleading for some breakfast - and then spotted the mummy or daddy sparrow deliver some tiny pieces of apple for breakfast :)
