A DAY TO REMEMBER....

.... and reflect!!!

Just could not believe the news of happenings in Paris..... our thoughts to families and all those involved. What a disgusting happening, stand strong against this attack on humanity.

Today was also the BIG launch day for the 2016 Cancer Council's Penrith Relay for Life. 

In reading the info in this link, part of the launch involved a free a cruise on the mighty Nepean River on our resident paddle wheeler the Nepean Belle. 

Caught this shot of them coming along the river. 

Note it was decked out in the Cancer Council colours. Unfortunately the day was wet all day and quite cool, but surely did not stop the activities toward making next year's Relay walk for Life the biggest yet.
