Allium giganteum

I love these flowers, to the point that I was so keen on the ones outside my work that I had to nab a few!!! Must.plant.in.own.garden......next year!!!
Not sure if it will work, but I am trying in vain to dry them so I can keep them forever and always! They are however starting to go a little frazzled looking so only time will tell.
Time being a month! They shall have to hang here as I am off on my hols and they will have to remain suspended until I am back in August!
Time for a road trip, starting tomorrow. Well ferry trip tomorrow then road trip from Saturday, through Northern Germany, The Netherlands (pit stopping in Den Haag to see friends for a couple of nights), Belgium to gorge on chocolate in Bruges then France to catch the boat back to the motherland (well almost...a drive through England first, then hip hooray, the motherland awaits!!!
A quick pit stop there for a few days, getting the kids settled in with Granny, then we´re off again as my beloved Italy beckons for a few days. It will be the first time in almost 6 years we holiday sans enfants or maybe it should be senza figli...goodness knows if that or either of them were even close to correct as my Italian remains appalling and my French is non existant!!
Hopefully get time in the morning to do a blip otherwise it will be a backblip of a ferry the day after!!!
Here is hoping for a wonderful July. Any good blip pit stop suggestions in any of the above places, please let me know!!!! Detours CAN be made!!!
