Asters

Popped into town this morning to the farmers' market and a few other necessaries. The Ch******s lights get switched on tomorrow (tomorrow??) so there was some prep for that which encouraged me to get home asap.

I then spent an hour in the garden raking up leaves and generally trying to tidy up. It's so mild that the grass is still growing and a few brave flowers are showing some colour. This hardy clump of asters is tucked away right at the very end if the garden. I should move them somewhere more prominent as they're reliable colour in November.

It's raining now and I'm having a cup of tea contemplating world news.
