The Kodak Passageway, Cairo

Located Downtown, this passageway has just been landscaped - that's the plants and paving you see! As the main destination for today, it was slightly underwhelming but it did lead onto an always interesting walk around the shops in Downtown and we found a couple of bookshops into the bargain. You can see a sign which reveals why the passageway has its name and also a very posh shoe shop , Babel, which still makes made-to-measure footwear.

And, of course, we stand in solidarity with all who live in France at the time of these tragic attacks.
