Boverton Place, Boverton, Llantwit Major.

I had to half climb a big wooden gate to get this blip. This enormous grade II building was a mansion built in 1587 on the instruction of Roger Seys who was a wealthy land owner and the Attorney General for Wales. The Seys family lived here until the late 17th century when the last heiress, Jayne Seys married Robert Jones of Fonmon. After her marriage,  the house was just abandoned and left to fall into disrepair.  The ruin is said to be haunted and there have been several sightings of a tall slender lady dressed in dark grey who appears to be in mourning!
