Bidding my time

I joined some friends/neighbour's for a trip to Peebles today to attend my very first auction - I've wanted to go to one for years!

Such a brilliant way to spend a day - a nice browse of random 'stuff' (oh my goodness so much stuff), a bacon roll and then the fun begins.

Came away the proud owner of a gorgeous 1920s mahogany sideboard and a beautiful oil painting by a local artist (all for £57).

Can't wait to go again now!
