First of Three

Lots of crushed stone arrived today for the terrace.  Quite glad we've not got the new stone pillar up yet.

This is "MOT" in the parlance apparently, as it's the same stuff that goes into roads.

Miserable weather. The guys did well to shift this lot - and two more that followed - and tidied up the car park afterwards.  The terrace is looking good and it's only the underlay.  

The rest of the upper garden is looking like the day after Armageddon.  Continual rain and tracked vehicles, a pristine garden does not make.
