Emotional evening

Children in Need day - Charlotte was disappointed that her school weren't doing anything.

I felt a bit guilty as it is the first year for a long time that I haven't organised anything at work either but there is no finance team any more and there seems to have been less enthusiasm to join in over the last couple of years.

We settled down to watch the entertainment on TV after tea, Charlotte with all her Pudsey collection. I am an emotional mess these days at the stupidest of things so it didn't take long for the tears to start watching some amazing children and families.

As Charlotte went to bed the news started filtering through from Paris. The two contrasting sides of human nature on display in one night.
