Tailing Hut

After a rocky drive in we arrived at Tailings hut, thy hut was used many years ago for the stockmen that roamed these hill, Doc took over the hut a(Doc parks and wild life) and built on 2 extra rooms the white parts of the building it can now sleep up to 12 people, the second photo is the view from up a slope behind the hut, Bruce in the river the opposite way to the first time we came up about the same time last year, all I can say is that I was very happy about that .So late after noon we headed back to the hut to collect our stuff and head for home, just as well because 6 4x4 were coming in for the weekend hunters.
So that as they say is that, home for the weekend and heading out on Monday to Te  Anua with the walking group hope he weather picks up
