Today I found a new place for blips.  I had asked the forester if he knew of any derelict places for derelict Sunday.  Yes he said the old forestry training centre has been left empty and some of the buildings have already been removed.  The area was the site of the first exotic tree nursery in the North Island in about the 1890's.  It developed into a place of research and training.  The forester remembers standing on the lawn in front of the buildings in January 1971 about to begin his induction course into forestry management.  Now it is returning to nothing.  Surrounding the area are plantings of a variety of trees including a tall stand of Kauri.  There are old paths and roads and I can see myself returning here. for more blips.
