Gun dog

She wasn't a good gun dog. She didn't like noises and she barked when she was happy and she was happy just being out with him.
So, instead of going out shooting, he walked with his dog for miles and hours. And talked to her.
And when she died, he still went walking. For hours and miles. And he still talked to her.
