Hydrangea Jungle
Hydrangea Arborescens "Annabelle" is a hugely popular varietal that has found a place in Dutchoak's garden, too. The Annabelles are interspaced with Sheepheads, or Hydrangea Paniculata "Limelight" and together line the Long Walk.
Every year, I cut the stalks in january and stick them in the soil where they will continue on their own, just like that, to create an ever denser border.
