What is this?

The plant was cut down when we moved in July, it has now grown back and is producing these flowers.  Any ideas?

On another note, Geoff made me get dressed today after being in my pyjamas all day yesterday and refusing to go out.  I spent the day reading, knitting and sleeping.


Only went out for a coffee today, then back to reading, knitting, watching 'Spook: The Greater Good', no sleeping.
