Joe's Blips

Memorial Stone

Far too busy today to think much about photography but on my way through Dublin to visit my Dad, I shot this picture which just goes to show that Paris is not alone in her grief. We have known it too.

The worrying thing is that the bomb in Talbot Street, which literally blew people through shop windows to their awful deaths has never been explained nor claimed. The Southern Irish terrorists of the time and their Northern Irish counterparts on both sides of the sectarian divide, never claimed the blast nor the one in Monaghan that day. The finger of suspicion points decidedly at British Intelligence Black-Ops but successive British governments have flatly refused to release papers and information which might shed some light on the matter one way or the other. We Irish wonder why?
