Newark Park

An unexpected family day today as Gaby was meant to be going to Paris today and I was meant to be going to stay with my parents for a few days. The awful events of Friday means the trip is postponed. Went to gorgeous Newark Park for a fab autumnal walk round the estate. Amazing what fresh air and being in the country does for the spirit. Swift half in a pub on the way home where Gabriel stomped around the tiniest pub in the world brandishing an iron hearth brush.

Work starts on our new house tomorrow. Curry and wine tonight to celebrate.
