Laundry

Learnt about the events in Paris rather late. What a world we live in! What happened was awful, as were the bombings in Beirut but I got angry at some of the reactions and I worry about the repercussions, the rise of islamophobia, the patriotism, the closing of doors to refugees, the  escalation, the cranking up of security measures and surveillance in the name of public safety.
On the practical side - we did so much laundry that there was nowhere else to dry it than on the stairs!
