Ilha de Faro at Dusk

Spent most of day walking along seaward side to the end of this peninsula - though didn't quite make it - then walking back along lagoon side, much the more interesting side - extra is a starfish we rescued and watched while it flipped itself over.  So warm for November...

This evening went into old Faro - spookily deserted - but found this amazing restaurant - Vila Adentro - in the restored remains of an ancient Moorish house - the waiter (from the Alentejo) took us afterwards for a tour of the tunnel which presumably would have been an escape route to the sea - partially destroyed in the 1755 earthquake.
