San Francisco!

To thank Grandma for her fantastic babysitting skills, we flew to San Francisco today to share a long weekend with my friend Rob, his wife Ryn and their gorgeous little family.

It's hard to believe that Grandma never had a passport until a couple of years ago, let alone board an airplane. Seeing her embrace her new found independence is wonderful. I only wish my father was here to witness these experiences too.
