Computer say...

The sight of a newly serviced gas fire.... Which caused ridiculous problems.....
The gas board don't supply and fit fires.
Bought gas fire last year and had it fitted (not by gas board as they don't supply and fit fires!)
Bought 5 year warranty, which includes replacements, spares etc but requires an annual service.
Had new boiler fitted in August, now under a years warranty.
Tried to add fire to annual gas board service plan.
Boiler is under warranty, so computer say we currently have no annual appliance service plan.
Computer says can't add gas fire service to plan as no appliances currently covered, even though we do have an annual service plan, it is just currently free of charge as during warranty period.
Computer says can't do annual service on fire alone.
Finally after countless phonecalls, common sense prevailed and fire has been serviced and added to plan!!! I don't think they told the computer!
