Frankensquash

I've been buying a lot of squash lately. I don't know why, because it really isn't my favorite. Perhaps I buy it just to add a little color to my November kitchen. There is now 4 different types ready to be cooked.

An Acorn, a Hubbard,
and this fine Butternut.
I just hope old Frank...
doesn't get up and strut.

With a knife and a clay tool,
I made this squash thinner.
And the best thing about it?
IT'S TOMORROW NIGHTS DINNER!!!

My favorite parts? The "screw" going into the cheek, and the "stitches" across the forehead.
