Aerobatics at Connaught Water

Today is my usual for a walk in Epping forest with Zeus09smum and Zeus but today  Zeus did not join us as he had a sleepover elsewhere! Instead we were accompanied by the lovely gentleman, J,  who provides Zeus' care during the working week.  J is also a wonderful photographer: his shots of these seagulls (taken with a very long, very fast  zoom lens) were of course incredible. 
I mostly confined myself to bread throwing duties but as you see did take a few shots: not great photography to be sure but the antics and postures of these birds as they swoop and swirl to fight for the scraps, always makes me smile!
