Sunset - 14/11/15

On Saturday night I got to see the great Neil Diamond performing live at Sandalford Wines in the Swan Valley. It had been an extremely hot day, topping at 39C, but as sunset approached, so did this storm cell. We sat out in the open, dreading its arrival. Obviously full of lightning and with thunder heralding its rapid movement, we fully expected to get drenched. We couldn't believe our luck when it veered away to the south, hitting the southern suburbs with all of its electrical fury while we got to sit and watch an amazing gig in balmy warmth.
