Tour of London

Sometimes I forget ( but not for long) that where I work is actually a massive tourist attraction. When I step out of the office I land on Trafalgar Square. And then when I look up the road I can see Buckingham Palace.

My Mum came and had lunch with me outside my work four years ago. We sat and had our sandwiches, and we laughed about the fact that I work where tourists want to come, and where she and I came when she first took me for a day out in London in 1973. We saw the Queen that day.

I miss my Mum so much.
