Sugar with that?

I either drove through, or saw the effects of, some fucking mad weather today.

The first instance was a convective storm that put two inches of surface water on every road in Gloucester at about 10:00.

The storm that then hit the Hereford area at about 11:00 was even better. At Mordiford the road went from dry to underneath a foot of streamwater in half an hour.

And then the sun came out and it became stupid. Ridiculous humidity and then dry heat as the wind took the warm moist air off to the northeast where it caused allsorts of problems as well.

Apropos all of that; a rainstorm (even as bad this one was) should not turn a river this colour. Irresponsible agriculture leads to runoff of soil and silt.

This water even sounded thick.
