Beauport Park Hastings

I rocked up here today with the idea of playing a quick nine holes. When asked, the pro in the shop said the greens were ok but there was a lot of standing water around the course. Never being one to duck a challenge, I opted to go on the driving range!
The fact is, that Beauport is an achingly beautiful parkland course, but you need advanced fitness just to walk round. Carrying a heavy set of clubs makes into something of a SAS initiation yomp. Water and mud as well...no thanks...pass the cheese!
