I can see for miles and miles and miles........

Exciting day today. Mr. H had an induction day at his new school. He had to wear a suite! One of mine!! I told him it was a bit too big around the shoulders and tight around the waist for him but it would do for today.

It amused me that he asked me to do his tie for him, he never wears one. He hates wearing a suite and proper shoes so this next two years will be interesting.

This afternoon he was off to friends for a small gathering prior to being taken by a stretched limo to his school leaver's prom. Then a coach takes all the buddies to an "after-party" party in a marquee in someone's garden.

It's a busy life for some people.

I didn't have any of this stuff in my day. I was at an all boys school. We had one party in the school hall. We invited the sixth form girls from our sister school. We didn't know any of them. There was a disco, the girls danced, the boys watched. There was orange squash and an army of teachers patrolling outside, to make sure no one left too early. Then we went home. Hopeless.

Anyway after running Mr H around I went back to this spot outside Hitchin. It's about the highest spot for miles around (think reasonable hummock - certainly not a proper hill). Because it's so flat it is possible to see for miles. I had hoped for more clouds to get that big sky effect but it wasn't to be.

I tried for hours to upload this file - way over the 5Gb limit! Then I learned to squash it down. Hope it looks OK.
