MonoMonday

As we are in Germany there aren't many brick built walls. They are mainly smooth walls painted with different colours, many with intricate paintings and designs on, quite beautiful. However I did see a pavement being laid today so my entry for mono Monday is "another brick in the path". Thanks to GoranZebuhr for hosting this interesting challenge.
