Brightening up

The walk with the dogs this morning was cold but thankfully dry, after the deluge we've had the past couple of days. And then, about halfway round, the sun came out and bathed everything in a lovely autumn-y glow.

All round, it was the kind of walk that leaves you with a grin on your face at the end of it. (What's better is that the grin is frozen into place by the icy wind, so it lasts most of the day...)
