Fire in summer

It is summer in South Africa, and in the north of the country they have had temperatures close to 40 recently. We are in the south however, and it was cloudy, and M was cold, so we decided to make a fire in the fireplace. It was worth it, it made the room nice and warm and above all it was very cosy. I did not even mind cleaning it the next day!
