Mallard Muddle

We did set out to go a little further but the road south from Hayfield was closed due to an accident so a walk around Hayfield village made for a change.

This is where the river runs through the village and takes a tumble down a short waterfall at the Memorial gardens.

The local ducks seem very calm and even took it well that we had no food for them so I tried to get the camera to their level but it was hard to get an angle.  The short time exposure shows they were all on the move after all.
