Closing ceremony number 1

The final week of the project, time for closing ceremonies in the communities were we have worked. Today we started of the series of closing ceremonies in the neighbourhood where I have worked the most.

Part of the event is giving touring invited guests through the area, to show what has been done. A colleague from another organisation had the clever idea of showing you that I really work there. So here it is, the picture of me in 'my' neighbourhood!

By the way, all the people in the back are amazedly staring at the first finished staircase!

Allthough it all went very Haitian, starting 1,5 hours late and being completely disorganized, the event was a lot of fun. A nice way of saying 'au revoir'!
