We went over to see Dad today and view his new garage doors. They are much better than the old fibreglass ones and keep the garage a lot warmer as no draughts get in now. They are electronic too, so fun to play with!

I wrote all Dad's Christmas cards while we were there - it's increasingly hard for him to do them now due to his failing eyesight. It's a job that I enjoy anyway!

Apparently the remnants of Hurricane Barney are hitting here tomorrow, with possible winds of 80mph along the south coast (where we live) which could bring down trees. It's hitting the west coast and Wales the worst apparently. Due to the coverage of the tragic events in Paris, we haven't been hearing much about the conditions in Scotland and the north of the country which have had unbelievable amounts of heavy rain recently.
