Fen breeze

Thank you all so much for all the stars and hearts given to my abstract birch trees. 

The highlight of today was a peaceful walk round Woodwalton Fen, with just the susurration of the wind in the reeds and the mewing of buzzards to interrupt the silence. 

Later we had bad news. Pete's Mum has had another more severe stroke and is now back in hospital. We'll go to see her tomorrow afternoon but I think it might well be a difficult visit....
