Aquilegia formosa

Spent the day in Yosemite Valley, gearing up for my summer job in the backcountry. So happy to be back, it's indescribable.

This is a Crimson Columbine. I found it growing in a place called Cook's Meadow, where you can see Yosemite Falls and Half Dome. There are two species of columbine growing in the park; this is the other.
