Big Blue

Today was the first day in the direction of summer. I had the air conditioning on in the car and felt that sunscreen, sunnies and deodorant were necessities. The long range forecasters say it's going to be a hot and dreadful summer but at least it is starting later than usual.

My gallivant across town was to our city's first and new IKEA store. In a feat of self-discipline I managed to buy only a jar of cloudberry jam, a cushion insert, a coffee and a cinnamon bun. I don't think the Swedish call it a cinnamon bun (?), but the pärlsocker suggested it was the real thing. Since it is only their second day of trading, the place was pretty busy. I ran into a friend in the eatery and we chatted for an hour- it was great! It's a pretty big building, as all IKEAs are, but at least from the distance of Mount Ainslie, it isn't an eyesore. Can you see it?
