Rose Reflection

Mother had her osteopath appointment this morning after which we partook of coffee in a Cafe in Mosgiel's main street, and a browse around a shop full of ideas for Christmas gifts before partaking of a very fine lunch at our usual haunt 'Topiary'. mother's gift to me for my birthday.  I have wanted to try the menu for a while instead of just coffee and pancakes. I had a lovely venison burger with cheese, bacon and beetroot chutney whilst Mother struggled with corn fritters, bacon and salad, all complemented by a glass of very nice Rose wine. Bought half of mother's plate home so she can enjoy the rest for tea tomorrow evening.
Thanks Ma for a delicious lunch... I do love to eat out!!
