Not a day we had planned

After making some big progress yesterday we decided that today's day off from work should only be a half day working at the house. We intended to do something nice in the afternoon as a treat but when you get into the labouring you get carried away. We had a trip to the building merchants first, then I lay some bricks, exposed another chimney breast and ripped out the partition on the landing to open up a nice area.

It's hard work but I'm still loving it

Claire did burn a lot of stuff today (Abstract blip image), cleared up the mess from yesterday and managed the kitchen area.

Just as we were about to finish we had a text from a builder saying he would be with us in another hour to check some things so I carried on working longer.

So all in all a long weekend which was very productive but apart from the beard competition very little time for photography.
