I used to love to walk through past the clubhouse to Hurst Reservoir in years gone by. This is no longer possible as the Golf Club removed the Public Right of Way after the work to dismantle the dam and re-landscape the Reservoir area was completed.

The writing was on the wall when fencing and a locked gate to the previously permitted path on the Snake Pass Road side was installed prior to the work.
