Ready, steady, chew!

If there was an Olympic sport of toothbrush mangling, my children would surely come first and second. Both kids are very independent and want to brush their own teeth, unfortunately this involves more chewing than brushing.

I've just been told that Miss A has a nursery school sports day next Friday which I'm ridiculously excited about. I can feel competitive mother syndrome gripping me as I type and will be priming her this week with lots of practice running, jumping and 'accidentally' tripping people up.

Now, if I could just persuade the nursery to have a toothbrush chew-off she'd be a sure-fire winner.
